It's rare to see this in the middle of the season, and it's rare to see this on the road the night before a game, but we witnessed a special moment with the Canadiens.
Toward the end of the practice, live from San Jose, head coach Martin St-Louis took a long moment to speak directly to his players on the ice.
Often, this happens in the locker room, but it seems even more symbolic to see that St-Louis did it directly on the ice, in front of everyone and in front of the cameras.
It's a strong gesture, but one that has often paid off in the past.
