It was concerning yesterday to see that captain Nick Suzuki was absent from the Montreal Canadiens' practice.

It's been obvious during the last two games, but Suzuki is clearly dealing with a foot injury (he's been playing through it).
That said, the Canadiens just gave us some great news in the last few minutes.
Nick Suzuki is taking part in today's practice, live from the Bell Centre, and he's expected to be in the lineup tonight against the Los Angeles Kings!
What fantastic news!

Nick Suzuki keeps going despite the injury

From speaking with a few well-informed people, I can confirm that many players would take a few games off with the kind of injury Suzuki is currently dealing with.
He's the real deal!

Here are some clips:
Another clear sign that the captain is playing hurt - he was spotted moments ago at the Bell Centre testing his lower body (his foot).
"Nick Suzuki is testing his lower body.

He has missed the last two practices.

All signs point to his ironman streak continuing tonight."

- Anthony Martineau
Suzuki, 26, has an impressive 20 points in 15 games this season and continues to play at an exceptional level, but he's clearly been bothered for about a week now.
Martin St-Louis is expected to give more details on the situation in the next few minutes (after practice, essentially).
