We have a last-minute announcement from the Montreal Canadiens involving captain Nick Suzuki.

Let's just say this isn't the news we were hoping for to start the week-but it does confirm that the captain is indeed bothered by something.

Nick Suzuki absent today and once again receiving treatment

That's what the team just announced.
"Forward Nick Suzuki will not participate in today's practice (therapy day)."

- Montreal Canadiens

It was obvious during Thursday night's game, and again during Saturday's game against Utah-Suzuki is clearly dealing with a foot injury and is clearly not at 100%, which is obviously far from ideal for the Habs.
It's been about a week since Suzuki sustained this foot injury, and he's still not able to practice, which is not very reassuring, to say the least.
Let's just hope Suzuki can return to 100% as soon as possible-and at least, for now, he's playing through the pain and continuing to suit up for games.
No need to remind anyone how essential a healthy Nick Suzuki is to the Montreal Canadiens' success.
Suzuki, 26, has a strong 20 points in 15 games this season and has once again been absolutely outstanding-but it's clear he's been dealing with discomfort for about a week now.
Martin St-Louis is expected to give us more details on the situation within the next few minutes (after practice, essentially).
More details to come.
