Nick Suzuki comments on health status ahead of the Kings game
The captain of the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki, is an exceptional athlete and leader.
He always puts the team before himself, and he proved it once again earlier today with an interesting statement.
He continues to play games even though he's clearly not at 100%.
A statement from Nick Suzuki that says a lot
Let's also remember that the Canadiens' captain has never missed a game in his career.
He's currently on an almost historic "iron man" streak!
But is that something important to him?
Here's his response on the matter:
Nick Suzuki today, who hasn't missed a game in his NHL career:
"I don't really care about the (iron man) streak. I just want to play and help my team. If they let me in, I feel good. I don't think I'm pushing through anything anyone else wouldn't. I'm just trying to be an effective player and trying to help the team win."

Once again, Suzuki refuses to put the focus on himself, preferring instead to keep it on the team.
He's far too modest... There are plenty of players who wouldn't be playing through the injury he's dealing with right now.
