Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki had plenty to say following last night's loss to the Los Angeles Kings.
Just like his head coach, Martin St-Louis, he didn't hold back when describing his team's performance at the Bell Centre on Thursday night.
The captain outright mentioned a lack of maturity and an immature effort.
Clearly, the tone is shifting in the Canadiens' locker room, and losing is no longer acceptable for the players, which is a positive sign.
Important comments from Nick Suzuki
Here is an excerpt from his statements.
Nick Suzuki on the loss: «I'm really disappointed. I think it was an immature effort from us, especially since they played yesterday and arrived late.
I think we gave them too much life and allowed them to get comfortable in the game, so it's on us to do much better than that.»

During this press conference, the words "soft," "immature," and "poor preparation" echoed loudly through the Bell Centre and the media.
As for head coach Martin St-Louis, he described his team's performance as unacceptable.
«Martin St-Louis' patience has likely reached its limit. And rightfully so.
The Canadiens' head coach expects more from this group, and he's right.»
- Sportsnet
All of this is very positive, but now it's up to the players and coaches to turn words into action.
