We have an adjustment to the scoresheet following last night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Chicago Blackhawks.

A change has been made, a correction was carried out, in connection with the first career goal scored by the young Ivan Demidov.
An assist has been added to Joel Armia.
It's not obvious with the following camera angle..
But more clear with the following angle:
In short, Joel Armia just slightly redirected Michael Matheson's superb pass to Ivan Demidov, and thus, an assist has been added to his stat line.
Armia can now boast having an assist on Ivan Demidov's first career goal.
What a moment!

The NHL adds an assist to Joel Armia on the goal scored by Ivan Demidov

This confirms what Pierre Houde mentioned on RDS last night.
A moment to listen to-and replay!
Armia ended last night's game with a two-point night (two assists) and a +1 rating, with two shots on goal, in just under seven minutes of ice time.
Pretty incredible.
As for Demidov, we're talking about a two-point night as well (one goal and one assist) and a +1 rating, with three shots on goal and one hit, in just under 17 minutes of ice time.
What a debut in the National Hockey League for the young guy!
He's going to be really good!
