Martin St-Louis unveils his lines to start the season: decisions for Ivan Demidov and Patrik Laine
"Line combinations and defence pairings at Habs practice this morning in Brossard.
Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky
Newhook-Kapanen-Demidov
Bolduc-Dach-Gallagher
Anderson-Evans-Laine
Matheson-Dobson
Guhle-Hutson

"It's become a classic between the two men, Patrik Laine and Ivan Demidov practice their passes and one-timers at the end of training."
- Pat Guillet
Barring a major surprise or a big reversal, these are Martin St-Louis' official lines and pairs to open the new season.
Patrik Laine, 27 years old, is a 6-foot-4, 208-pound forward who tallied 33 points in 52 games last season, including 20 goals, and earns $8.7 million per year through the end of this season.
Yes, that's a hefty price for a fourth-liner, but he brings so much to the power play!
It will be up to Laine to give more at 5-on-5 if he wants to move back up to the second line and earn more even-strength minutes.
Do you think it's a good decision by Martin St-Louis to send him to the fourth line to start the season?
