We have an important clarification to share for Montreal Canadiens fans ahead of tonight's game against the Calgary Flames.

The Canadiens are not playing at 7:00 p.m. tonight, note that. The game against the Calgary Flames at the Bell Centre starts at 7:30 p.m. That's half an hour later than usual, and it can definitely confuse a lot of people.
This morning, the organization is also holding a morning skate at 10:30 a.m. at the Bell Centre, so a practice that is currently underway. That detail matters, because that's often where we see the clues ahead of tonight's game.
Notably, regarding the identity of the starting goaltender for the game.

A change to the Montreal Canadiens' usual schedule

This kind of change doesn't happen often in Montreal. Most home games start at 7:00 p.m., so fans' routines are well established. With a 7:30 p.m. puck drop, the entire evening shifts for everyone.
Even the habits of the players and the media follow that rhythm. When the morning skate is at 10:30 a.m., the day becomes a bit longer, and every minute is planned.
In the end, what you need to remember are two clear times: morning skate at 10:30 a.m., then tonight's game at 7:30 p.m. against the Calgary Flames.
"Habs will have a 10:30am morning skate at the Bell Centre ahead of tonight's game vs. the Flames."

**Note the start time is 7:30pm ET**

We'll also keep you updated on any lineup announcements for the game.
If I had a small prediction, I'd say Jacob Fowler will be in goal, Kaiden Guhle will not be in uniform, and there won't be any major lineup changes compared to the last game in Dallas.
