Martin St-Louis has just announced Alex Burrows' replacement
This is probably the last big question that persisted with the Montreal Canadiens as the 2024 training camp approaches.
Who was going to replace Alex Burrows? Who will take charge of the power play?
We've had several speculations and predictions on the subject over the past few weeks, but now Martin St-Louis has given an official answer.
Martin St-Louis announces that he will replace Alex Burrows and take charge of the power play himself
We love it!
«Martin St-Louis stated that he would take over the power play duties after Alex Burrows' departure from the coaching staff.»
- Priyanta Emrith
So, the author of 1,033 career points in the National Hockey League, including 391 goals, will be in charge of leading his team's power play.
It will be very interesting to see the results, especially considering that he will have plenty of assets to build a formidable power play. We can obviously think of Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, and Juraj Slafkovsky, who will continue to progress and have strong shots, but we also think of the new acquisition, Patrik Laine.
He is a power play specialist, and I believe Martin St-Louis can absolutely help him become one of the best power play players in the entire NHL again.
