Laval Rocket community shaken after medical emergency in the stands as fan passes away
We learned some terrible news this morning, following a sad scene during last night's Laval Rocket game.
The Laval Rocket's evening took an extremely heavy turn on Saturday.
In moments like these, hockey becomes secondary, and everyone's thoughts first go to the person involved.
Since then, the Rocket published a message of support and offered its thoughts to the family.
And in the comments, a loved one wrote that he is the brother of the victim.
The tone of the message suggests that the worst news was learned, which has hit everyone extremely hard.
Terrible news involving a devoted Laval Rocket fan
The Laval Rocket ultimately lost the game by a score of 3-0. But on Saturday, all of that became secondary.
An emergency like this in the stands is a stark reminder of what truly matters.
Respect, health, and the dignity of the people inside the arena come before any point in the standings.
