Last-Minute Announcement Involving Goaltender Cayden Primeau

In the last few minutes, it was announced that goaltender Cayden Primeau will make his first start of the season with the Laval Rocket tonight.
Let us recall that Primeau joined Pascal Vincent's squad a few days ago after being placed on waivers by Kent Hughes and subsequently ignored by the 31 other teams in the NHL.
Jakub Dobes replaced Primeau with the Canadiens and made an impressive debut, shutting down the Florida Panthers in his first NHL game.
We are really looking forward to seeing how Primeau rebounds in Laval, as he was dominant during his most recent stint with the Rocket but has seen his confidence wane significantly over the past few months.
During the 2022-23 season, Primeau recorded 19 wins, 15 losses, and 6 overtime losses in the American Hockey League, with a goals-against average of 3.04 and a save percentage of 0.909.
It was during the 2022 playoffs that Primeau truly shone as a star goaltender in the AHL.

Cayden Primeau will play tonight for the Rocket against the Abbotsford Canucks. Pascal Vincent hasn't ruled out the possibility of sending him into action for both weekend games, especially since tomorrow's game will be in the evening.
We are really looking forward to the result, as Primeau is currently competing with
Connor Hughes for the position of the Montreal Canadiens' AHL affiliate's number one goaltender.
