Key Forward Signs New Deal Within the Canadiens Organization

We have some fantastic news to share for the Montreal Canadiens organization, and it's equally exciting for fans of both the Habs and the Laval Rocket.
The talented forward Laurent Dauphin has just signed a new two-year contract (2025-2026 and 2026-2027 - AHL, one-way) with the Laval Rocket!

Judging by the early reactions from experts who closely follow the Rocket, it's clear this comes as a pleasant surprise.

It's hard to disagree with the excitement around this signing.
Laurent Dauphin, 30, is a center from Repentigny, Quebec. He stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 181 pounds.
Originally selected 39th overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2013, Dauphin has tallied 17 points in 94 career NHL games - including 12 points in 38 games with the Montreal Canadiens.
