Josh Anderson misses today's practice as Canadiens prepare for matchup with the Maple Leafs

The Montreal Canadiens announced bad news just a few hours before a game that promises to be very intense against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Please note that Samuel Blais still has not been recalled from the Laval Rocket, at least at the time of writing, which means the Canadiens had only 11 healthy forwards available today (which is obviously not ideal).
Josh Anderson is banged up
Having a fully healthy Josh Anderson would have been extremely useful for Saturday night's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, but clearly, that will not be the case.
For now, the Canadiens organization has simply announced that Anderson needed a treatment day, but he appeared to be in rough shape toward the end of the game against the Winnipeg Jets.
"Forward Josh Anderson (therapy day) will not participate in today's practice."

We are waiting to see whether he will be able to play in Toronto.
Josh Anderson, 31, is a 6-foot-3, 226-pound power forward who has 8 points in 26 games this season (five goals and three assists), along with 20 penalty minutes and a minus-11 rating.
If he ends up missing games, all signs point to Samuel Blais being recalled from the Laval Rocket. He would also get a chance to get some revenge on the Toronto Maple Leafs, who placed him on waivers a few days ago.
Blais, 29, has 3 points in 8 NHL games this season, as well as 5 points in 3 AHL games.
