Ivan Demidov's Temporary New Team Has Finally Been Announced for the End of the Season

It's definitely a huge day for the Ivan Demidov situation today. There have been several twists, but now we have our answer.
A decision has officially come down, and it comes directly from SKA.
Ivan Demidov will report to the VHL, which is the equivalent of the Laval Rocket, but for SKA
However, the forward's intention was very clear.
"To be clear, Demidov's camp wanted the NHL (the Montreal Canadiens), but that wasn't on the table.
So between going to the MHL and the VHL, he preferred playing in a professional setting with his brother."

So, Demidov will finish the season with his brother in the VHL, even though he truly wanted to come to Montreal right away.
Ivan Demidov will continue his season in the VHL and will try to help them in the playoffs
He'll probably be way too dominant for that league, but still.
"Sources confirm that Ivan Demidov is heading to the VHL to play with his brother (his preferred option of playing in MTL was off the table)."

As David Calabretta (TFP) mentions, this clearly makes Ivan Demidov unavailable until April 17.
Adding Demidov could obviously give them a big boost, though.
We'll keep an eye on this over the next few days, but it's truly frustrating to see such stubbornness from SKA.
