Four players sign NHL tryout contracts: one is very well known to the Montreal Canadiens
Four more players have just signed a professional tryout contract in the NHL, including a name familiar to Montreal Canadiens fans.
It was the St-Louis Blues who made the announcement.
«The Blues announce they have signed four players via PTO, including restricted free agent forward Nikita Alexandrov. Free agent forwards Sam Bitten and Matthew Peca, along with defenseman Scott Harrington, have also signed PTO contracts.»

These four players will now attempt to secure a standard contract over the next few weeks.
Nikita Alexandrov, 24, is a 6-foot-1, 177-pound forward. He was a second-round pick in 2019 and has 9 points in 51 career NHL games. (45 points in his last 48 AHL games)
Scott Harrington, 31, is a 6-foot-2, 204-pound defenseman. He was a second-round pick in 2011 and has 49 points in 255 career NHL games.
Matthew Peca, 31, is a 5-foot-10, 181-pound forward. He was a seventh-round pick in 2011 and has 21 points in 83 career NHL games. He spent a good portion of his career with the Montreal Canadiens.
Sam Bitten, 24, is a 6-foot-1, 203-pound forward. He played 29 games in the AHL last season.
