This may possibly explain that, but here is another sad piece of news involving the Canadiens' goalie, Jakub Dobes.
It is possibly, indeed, another reason that explains his overflow of emotions during his most recent (and sad) post-game press conference, but Jakub Dobes may have created a scandal because of his comments toward his country.
Knowing Dobes a bit, it's definitely not what he intended to do, but it's clear that it affects him...
People are too hard on him over there!
As reported by Jonathan Di Gregorio from the site DansLesCoulisses, Jakub Dobes created a scandal through his comments against his country.
"Marc Antoine Godin wonders whether Dobes's reaction is not only tied to the loss, but also to his situation as the Czech team's goaltender ahead of the upcoming Olympic Games."

In an interview reported by Arpon Basu, when asked about the possibility of representing Czechia in Milan. Dobes admitted he's still heard nothing from the Czech national team - a ridiculous silence considering how well he's been playing in Montreal.
