After another hard fall during last night's game against the San Jose Sharks:
Josh Anderson is now forced to miss today's practice.
This is obviously concerning, showing just how banged up he is right now, but it also highlights how courageous he is.
A true warrior.
After last night's game at the Bell Centre, during press conferences, several Canadiens players (including captain Nick Suzuki) outright confirmed that Anderson is playing through a serious injury.
So, this morning, it's not surprising to see that Anderson is absent, but it's still worrisome.
It's unfortunate because he wants to play so badly and help the team, but there are concerns that his body may ultimately give out on him.
Here is the official confirmation.
Let's hope Josh can get back on his feet as soon as possible because he has truly become a role model for his teammates and is making a real impact on the team's success, even if his stats don't always reflect it.
Renaud Lavoie explains very well here how Josh Anderson and Nick Suzuki are inspiring their teammates right now.
More details to come.
