Carey Price is back in Montreal, and images are going viral
His wife, Angela Price, had confirmed it via her personal page, and indeed, Carey Price is in Montreal to kick off the 2024-2025 season for the Canadiens.
We initially thought he'd only be in town for the opening game, but no. Number 31 is already in the city!
It's unclear if he's accompanied by his whole family or if he's alone for now, but it's great news to see that he's chosen to arrive early.
He'll evidently be able to spend some time around the Canadiens and with goaltender Samuel Montembeault.
Carey Price is currently in Montreal and was spotted at an autograph signing session
Price certainly made some fans happy today, as reported by the fantastic page HabsOnReddit.
«Carey Price is attending an autograph signing session in Montreal today.»
Once again, he was very generous with his time, and it's truly heartwarming to see:
A certain Teemu Selanne is also present at this autograph session.
Carey Price, 37 years old, is considered by many to be one of the top three goaltenders in the history of the Montreal Canadiens. In his 712 career games, he posted a goals-against average of 2.51 and a save percentage of 0.917.
As for his record, it includes 361 wins, 261 losses, and 79 overtime losses (49 shutouts).
It will be interesting to see if the Canadiens' official page publishes any content about Number 31's visit to Montreal and his involvement with the club.
Do you think he'll be presented to the crowd at the Bell Centre for the opening game?
