A major piece of news has just come down within the organization, with the Laval Rocket, following what happened last night.

Following the unacceptable action by Michael Pezzetta against defenseman Marc Del Gaizo (who left the game and did not return), things really got heated between Laval and Toronto.
Right after Pezzetta's blindsided hit on Del Gaizo, Florian Xhekaj decided to take matters into his own hands.
Other players eventually got involved, and today consequences have been announced.

The Laval Rocket announces the suspension of four players from the team and the Montreal Canadiens organization

It's extremely rare to see this, that the organization itself announces news regarding suspensions handed out, but here we are.
"Forwards Alex Belzile, Laurent Dauphin, and Joshua Roy have been suspended for three games due to the consequences of their actions during yesterday's game (leaving the players' bench during an altercation). Forward Samuel Blais has also been suspended for one game."

- Laval Rocket
In the end, it is indeed four forwards who have been suspended, and the sanctions take effect immediately. Three forwards are suspended for three games, while one forward-Samuel Blais-has been suspended for one game.
Some players are injured, including Marc Del Gaizo. Let's just say Pascal Vincent is seriously starting to run out of players, which also explains the following roster move.
"Forwards Joe Dunlap, Riley Kidney and Israel Mianscum have been recalled from the Trois-Rivières Lions. They will all play today. Nate Clurman, Josh Jacobs and Hunter Jones will also be joining the lineup." - Rocket
Yes, things got heated last night between the Rocket and the Marlies!
More details to follow.
