The Canadiens have just announced that Ivan Demidov stayed in Toronto today and will not be traveling to Ottawa, which makes complete sense.

So it will be tomorrow, still in Toronto, that young Demidov will finally meet his new teammates, just hours before the game against Auston Matthews and the Maple Leafs.
