The Montreal Canadiens have just released an official statement containing two noteworthy updates.
First, we learn that Nick Suzuki will be in the lineup tonight against the Dallas Stars, despite missing yesterday's practice for treatment. The captain continues to play through a fairly significant foot injury, a real warrior.
He was even on the Bell Centre ice in the last few minutes.
Martin St. Louis makes a change regarding today's practice
Second, the update confirms that Martin St. Louis has gone back to his winning formula.
He modified today's practice and made it optional.
"Thirteen players took part in an optional skate ahead of the Canadiens' game against the Dallas Stars on Thursday including captain Nick Suzuki."

Suzuki, age 26, is up to an impressive 20 points in 16 games this season. He's been outstanding once again, but he has clearly been dealing with this injury for about a week and a half now.
Over his NHL career, Suzuki has collected 395 points in 471 games.
Enjoy the game!
