The Montreal Canadiens have just issued an important official announcement ahead of tonight's game against the Los Angeles Kings.

In this statement, we find some very important information.
First, the Montreal Canadiens announce some bad news for fans, as travel to the Bell Centre tonight will be very difficult.
"Due to a strike by STM staff, there will be no metro and bus service between 5:45 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. today, so please plan your commute accordingly."

"The Montreal Canadiens are proud to honor those who have served or are currently serving our country via a variety of initiatives on Tuesday:

A ceremonial puck drop featuring two Veterans of the Second World War-Corporal (Ret'd) Anne McNamara and Flying Officer (Ret'd) Howard McNamara;

Performances of the national anthems with a flag party composed of members from Les Fusiliers Mont Royal."

Also in this morning's announcement, the Canadiens confirm a practice that will begin at 10:30 a.m. this morning ahead of tonight's game, and the team is also summoning the media for a press conference with head coach Martin St-Louis.
"The Canadiens are scheduled for a morning skate at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
