After the 2025 NHL Draft, the Montreal Canadiens brought in more young players to evaluate them.
We told you about the first defenseman invited in the past few hours:
Well, now we must add a forward to that list.
In the past few hours, it was announced that Félix Trudeau will immediately join the Canadiens for the team's 2025 development camp.
So this is another young player (in addition to all those drafted) who will already have a chance to prove himself to the Habs' management.
Félix Trudeau Joins the Montreal Canadiens for Development Camp
This information comes from the excellent Mikaël Lalancette.
Forward Félix Trudeau, who played for Sacred Heart University (AHA), will also be invited to the Canadiens' development camp.
We're still waiting for the official list, but we already have some names!
Félix Trudeau, 22 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound left winger from Terrebonne, Quebec, who posted a solid 38 points in 39 games this season with Sacred Heart University.
He also played two full seasons in the NCAA for the University of Maine, after recording 61 points in 49 games in the BCHL.
He'll be an interesting player to watch at development camp and could earn a shot at the main camps this fall, depending on how he performs.
In the short term, he could be a strong option for the Laval Rocket and/or the Trois-Rivières Lions, especially since both Canadiens affiliates will have roster spots to fill.
More details to follow.
