News is coming in from Carolina involving Martin St-Louis and the Montreal Canadiens.

Jakub Dobes will be in goal tonight, not Samuel Montembeault. It's a really interesting decision.
Following the most recent press conference from head coach Martin St-Louis, we truly had the impression that Montembeault would be the starting goaltender in Carolina, but no.

Jakub Dobes named starting goaltender for tonight's game

Fans were eager to see whether management would decide in favor of Montembeault or Fowler, but in the end the answer is neither one nor the other.
After Tuesday's win against the Florida Panthers, many expected to see Samuel Montembeault back in action quickly.
He had just earned a 3-2 overtime victory with 28 saves in a game where Nick Suzuki scored twice and stole the show.

Mike Matheson will play against Hurricanes

Mike Matheson will surprisingly play tonight against the Hurricanes after leaving Tuesday's game with a head hit from Brad Marchand. His quick return changes the tone in Montreal following the NHL's decision not to suspend Marchand. All eyes will be on Matheson's health and workload.
After a head contact, you usually expect a day of treatments followed by a last-minute decision. This time, the feeling is the player simply wants to be there, period.
Tonight, everyone will be watching two things, first, whether he's truly at 100 percent.
Second, how the team will manage his workload, because the Canadiens don't need another medical situation dragging on.

Struble draws in for Engström

Jayden Struble will re-enter the lineup, while Adam Engström will come out.
Struble has five points in 30 games this season, while Engström is still searching for his first point in 10 games.
Puck drops at 7:00 p.m. live from Carolina.
