"Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced on Tuesday that the team has agreed to terms on one-year, two-way contracts with forward
Alex Belzile and defenseman Nate Clurman.
This signing marks a return to the Canadiens organization for Belzile, who played for the Rocket from 2018 to 2023. Belzile also served as Rocket captain from 2021 to 2023. In 44 NHL games with the Canadiens, he scored six goals and nine assists while serving 17 penalty minutes."

This season, he tallied 56 points in 66 games, including 19 goals, in the American Hockey League with the New York Rangers' affiliate.

We'd like to welcome both players to the Canadiens organization-and welcome home Alex Belzile.
It will be interesting to see what role he plays this fall, but one thing is certain, a solid veteran is joining the organization.
