Avalanche approved to wear Nordiques jerseys for matchup against the Canadiens at the Bell Centre
It has indeed just been approved by the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens and the Colorado Avalanche.
The Avalanche will be allowed to wear their Quebec Nordiques jersey on January 29 for their game (at the Bell Centre) against the Montreal Canadiens. Wow! Gary Bettman has therefore finally accepted this request.

Personally, and I have absolutely no idea why I think this way, but somehow I like it better this time. When I saw the Avalanche wear the Nordiques jersey in Colorado, I wasn't necessarily the biggest fan. But now, somehow, I like it!
It will create excitement, it will create a rather special event at the Bell Centre, and it will definitely make that game unique.
More details to follow.
