On Sunday night, Travis Green lost his position as the Vancouver Canucks' head coach and Bruce Boudreau was immediately hired for two years.

A few hours later, Jim Benning was fired by the Canucks owners, but not immediately replaced. His assistant John Weisbrod was also fired.

Stan Smyl was named interim GM and Ryan Johnson will be his right-hand man, also on an interim basis.

At this time, the candidates in the running are not known, but many people believe that the Sedin twins could take over as GM. I would imagine one would be the GM and the other would be his assistant.

Unless Vancouver opts for a two-headed general manager, which would be no worse than the organizational chart the Montreal Canadiens are putting up right now.

We are talking about two men who spent their careers with the Canucks, who love Vancouver and who are together for life. Daniel and Henrik have 1041 and 1070 points respectively.

At the time of writing, the twins are the two main advisors to the general manager, so they know the game and are most likely ready to take on these guides.

With them, the team would certainly be in good hands, right?
