Trade alert between the New York Rangers and the Dallas Stars:
In 34 games this season with Hartford in the AHL, Lunkvist had 15 points and added four points in 25 games with the Rangers.
Of course, let's remember that the name of Jeff Gorton's former first round pick (when he was GM of the Rangers), Nils Lundkvist, was linked to the Montreal Canadiens. We are talking about a young defenseman who is very mobile and very dynamic.
In the end, the Stars won this derby, and we understand better, seeing the price paid. Kent Hughes probably wanted to keep his 2023 first round pick. (and that of the Florida Panthers)
