On Monday night, Kirill Kaprizov reached the 100-point mark in his 92nd game in the Wild uniform, becoming the player in this franchise to reach this plateau quickest.
On Monday night, the Wild set a record of eight goals in a game since it was called the Wild and based in Minnesota.
Also on Monday night, the organization of the Montreal Canadiens set a historic record. A very unenviable record, but still a plateau: This year's Canadiens gave five or more goals 15 times, after 41 games. It's sad...
The record previously belonged to the 1979-80 edition, when the latter gave five goals 14 times, after 41 meetings. That was the year the club tried the great Bernie «Boom-Boom» Geoffrion behind the bench, which clearly didn't work. Bob Gainey and Guy Lafleur were pillars that year!
How do you feel this morning? Be honest!
