Signing alert: Kent Hughes has just announced a contract signing under his hat as General Manager of the Laval Rocket
The current General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens and the Laval Rocket, Kent Hughes, has just announced a signing.
Under his role as the Rocket's GM, Hughes has awarded a professional tryout contract to forward Nolan Yaremko.
At 24 years old, Yaremko has gathered an impressive 45 points in 28 games this season with Mount Royal University.
The 6-foot-1 forward has five professional games of experience in the AHL, where he scored a goal with the Stockton Heat, a former farm team of the Calgary Flames. Yaremko also accumulated 66 points in 68 games in the WHL.
