RUMOR: Montreal Canadiens may be in the process of signing Lane Hutson's teammate
As reported by Max Truman and DansLesCoulisses, Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens are showing serious interest in a Montreal forward.
According to what Truman mentioned yesterday on BPM Sports radio, the CH would be one of the three teams in the race to sign Sam Stevens.
Who is Sam Stevens?
Stevens, 22 years old, is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound center. He has collected 17 points in 38 games this season with Lane Hutson and Boston University (NCAA).
Truman adds that he is a very defensively responsible and complete center. He could be a nice addition to the Laval Rocket if Kent Hughes ever signs him.
It should be noted that three teams are in the race, including the Habs.
