At the beginning of the day, the Montreal Canadiens announced that general manager Kent Hughes would meet with the media tomorrow for an important press conference.
He planned to announce his latest cuts and give details on the injured players. A busy press conference:
Finally, a curious turn of events, journalist Renaud Lavoie has just reported that the press conference has been moved to Wednesday:
"Kent Hughes' press briefing scheduled for tomorrow has been pushed to Wednesday."

We do not know the reason for this postponement and the mystery persists.
Remember that the CH has a significant surplus of forwards (and a big lack of experienced defensemen) in its organization, and decisions must be made quickly in this direction.
