Earlier in the day, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis unveiled his full roster for tonight's game.
Check out the result:
Small twist, we just learned that the organization has made a small mysterious last minute change to the lineup.
Originally, the defensive brigade was supposed to look like this:
Guhle-Savard
Matheson-Leskinen
Xhekaj-Bowey
Finally, we have just learned that the duos will officially be the following:
Leskinen-Savard
Guhle-Barron
Xhekaj-Bowey
This means that Michael Matheson will be left out, in favor of young Justin Barron. This could say a lot about Barron's short term future with the organization, and obviously, tonight's audition will be very important for him, to determine if he will start the season in Montreal (in the NHL) or in Laval (in the AHL).
Watch for it tonight!
