Mathieu Darche is not who we think he is

The Montreal Canadiens begins its second round of the hiring process for a general manager. The candidates who seem to stand out are Mathieu Darche, Daniel Brière and Marc Denis.
That said, many say that the next GM of the Habs would be Jeff Gorton's French-speaking spokesperson. With this belief, many individuals are convinced that Patrick Roy would not agree to be the second violinist.
From there, can we assume that Darche would accept this type of role, that is, the francophone on duty? According to Guillaume Latendresse, Darche is not the type of man who wants to be told what to do.
«Does Mathieu Darche have an interest? Yes, but he won't jump at the opportunity directly. A guy like him wants to decide and have 100% control. He wants to make decisions. He doesn't want to be told what to do. He did his classes. For the past two years, he has been in the organization of the Tampa Bay Lightning," said Latendresse.
So if the former number 52 of the Montreal Canadiens becomes Gorton's man, things will certainly have been cleared up on paper.
