That's a big statement, especially considering Wright was long considered a future first overall pick in 2022 (eventually selected fourth overall by Seattle), while Roy was drafted in the fifth round (150th overall) in 2021.
That's a huge difference.
So this is a really interesting discussion, because it doesn't make sense at first, but right now, after Canada's last few games, it's hard to disagree with such a statement.
