In the last few seconds, there has been a major development on the CH's defense as, against all odds, Joel Edmundson is back on the ice.
His return to the game, which was undetermined until now, seems rather imminent.
As Marc-Olivier Beaudoin reports, this could settle the Arber Xhekaj file.

I know you're going to tell me XHEKAJ but I don't see him overtaking those 3 lefties in the pecking order!"

He makes a good point. We are probably the biggest fans of Xhekaj, but it's true that it's hard to see him passing Kaiden Guhle, Joel Edmundson or Michael Matheson. To be continued!
It doesn't seem to work out on paper, but it would take Martin St-Louis and Kent Hughes so much to find a place for him in the lineup. He has really earned his spot on the third pair!
