Kayden Guhle appeared in front the media with a bag of ice on his foot

During this game between the Toronto Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens, my objective was to observe the combination of Drouin-Dvorak-Anderson, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and Kayden Guhle. To start the day after the game, it's impossible not to open the day with the imperial performance of Guhle, who came to play hockey. His presence in front of the media proved just how much of Shea Weber's DNA the young defenseman has.
His game by the numbers looks like a scorecard delivered by Shea Weber: 23:44 (the most used defenseman) of playing time, four checks and two blocked shots. By the way, it was because of one of his blocked shots that he showed up in the media box with a bag of ice on his foot.
Despite this inspired and colossal performance, the 19-year-old defenseman will likely have to return to the Prince Albert Raiders to get some experience. At least that's what we can discern between the lines of Dominique Ducharme's dialogue on the subject!
"At some point, decisions will have to be made. But one thing I do know, he's going to be a good defenseman for many years," added Ducharme.
As Joël Bouchard says so well when he talks about one of his foals with a ton of talent, Guhle is a hockey player. The 1st pick of the Canadiens in 2020 has everything to play 1000 games in the NHL, but the organization will be patient with him by making him climb the steps one by one.
But you have to admit that we would like to have him in the Montreal Canadiens' line-up this year?
