John Tortorella is a controversial individual, at least he was as a head coach, but as an analyst, how is he?

Worse!?!

His statement about Connor McDavid gave many people perms, but his statement about Trevor Zegras and Sonny Milano is hair raising...

I'll remind you that Zegras flipped the puck, to turn this into a sensational one-timer to Milano earlier this week. A play that has been on a loop on the networks and in the highlights of all the sports channels.

Here is that sequence in question:

So, on that subject, "Tort's" indicated that this kind of play was not good for hockey...

"I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I don't think it's good for hockey. If they had done that in the 1990s or 2000s, they would have had their heads torn off. It's cool to watch, but I don't think it's good for hockey and I really do."

The coach certainly got a few tomatoes fired at him for that statement, didn't he?
