For those of you who didn't know, the Montreal Canadiens' dynamic forward Cole Caufield has an older brother who plays hockey, and his name is Brock.
Brock Caufield is 23 years old and still playing at the University of Wisconsin and looks to be a very good hockey player.
Described as being as energetic and smiley as Cole, some observers say that Brock is starting to look like Caufield on the ice as well.
Check out his goal yesterday:
What a shot! And he's scored a lot of them this way.
Obviously, he's nowhere near the caliber of his little brother, but it's nice to see that they have relatively similar styles, and it's nice to see that Brock is learning a bit from Cole's shot. He seems to be applying his tricks to perfection and that translates well to the NCAA.
At 5-foot-9, two inches taller than his younger brother Cole, Brock has never been drafted in the NHL. In six games this season with the University of Wisconsin, he has four points.
Could he earn a professional tryout with the Habs at the end of the college season for the team's rookie camp? That would be incredible!
Stay tuned!
