Following a six-game losing streak, the Montreal Canadiens return to the Bell Centre tonight for a visit from the New York Rangers.
After practice, we unfortunately learned that forward Brendan Gallagher was injured and will miss tonight's game.
It's starting to get worrisome, what's going on with the Habs' number 11 right now. Gally is simply not capable of staying healthy.
Over the past three seasons, he has missed almost as many games in a season as he has played, that's very worrying.
Gally gets paid a hefty $6.5M per year and has four years left on his contract. That's huge for the production he's bringing to the team.
