A well-known journalist doesn't understand that PK Subban doesn't want anything to do with him, and it's making the rounds on the web

The season is fast approaching, training camps will start this week, and we still don't have any news regarding a possible contract (or professional tryout) for defenseman P.K. Subban.
Subban is only 33 years old and had 22 points last season (35 points the year before) and he still seems to be able to help an organization, on a third pair, but clearly, the right opportunity is not forthcoming.
Some are even starting to wonder where his career stands and if he will ever play again.
In short, popular Toronto journalist Steve Simmons said that he has been trying to contact Subban literally all summer, but to no avail.
"October is approaching and Subban is nowhere to be found. I've called his agent, family members, friends, neighbors and former general managers, and all five numbers I had for him on my phone list. There was nothing to be done. A few people said they would have him call; he didn't."
- Steve Simmons
It's hilarious because obviously Subban wants nothing to do with talking to Simmons, and the reporter doesn't get the message at all.
For those who know Simmons well, he has a questionable reputation among fans, and he's not popular with the players. He is known and popular, but not always for the right reasons.
So maybe Subban knows what kind of journalist Simmons is and has no interest in providing him with information, or talking to him, but anyway, there's a lot of talk right now.
He talks about it himself:
In any case, we wish P.K. the best of luck in finding a challenging job where he can perform, be happy and grow. He truly deserves it! (Whether it's as an NHL player or not).
And if he wants to stay silent on the subject, he has every right to do so.
