A nice announcement from the Montreal Canadiens regarding Juraj Slafkovsky

This Monday, the Canadiens' social networks announced to their fans that the official jerseys of the club's newest 1st round pick, Juraj Slafkovsky, were now available. This announcement must have pleased many fans who were waiting for this moment to buy the jersey of their new idol.
The little video that unveiled the jersey allowed us to notice a particularity on Slafkovsky's jersey. The Canadiens' organization was kind enough to write the name of their new sensation in the Slovak alphabet, with an acute accent embroidered above the letter "Y".
As the TVA Sports website reminds us, more and more teams are now writing the names of their players according to the particularities of their native language. Just remember the umlaut embroidered on Nils Höglander's jersey in Vancouver and the grave accent on Alexis Lafrenière's jersey with the Rangers.
Bravo to the CH organization for having this open-mindedness!
