The Carolina Hurricanes were in action on Saturday night as they upset the Los Angeles Kings 5-1. The Montreal Canadien spent almost 16 minutes on the ice and collected a goal and an assist.
Here is the goal of "KK":
With the absence of Sebastian Aho, among others, Kotkaniemi is making his presence felt as Rod Brind'Amour is using him more, which is paying off for the "kid" and the organization. In his last three games, he has five points, bringing his total to 13 in 29 games.
Since December 12, Brind'Amour has been giving him more minutes and "KK" is showing that he is capable of taking minutes in Sebastian Aho's absence.
Is Brind'Amour developing Kotkaniemi, something the Montreal Canadiens have not been able to do?
In short, when there is something positive about the former Montreal Canadiens member, it should be pointed out. We shouldn't just point out when he performs badly, should we?
