A big tile about to fall on the Tampa Bay Lightning for tonight's game?

Tampa Bay Lightning star Brayden Point may have to miss tonight's Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning. This was announced by head coach Jon Cooper on Monday morning.

The final decision will be made immediately before the game.

This would be a big loss for Tampa, especially since Point played the first two games against the Avalanche after missing the previous two series with a lower body injury.

With his team trailing 2-0 in the series, his help, even if he's not 100%, would be more than welcome.

Knowing that he will decide in the last minute whether he will play or not shows how bad Point is.

A sign that he won't play tonight? Brayden Point was absent from the team's practice this morning, after having participated in each of the previous sessions (since the beginning of the final series).

Also, his replacement, Riley Nash, was on a regular line this morning and seems to be on track to play tonight.

In 9 playoff games this season, the forward has 2 goals and 3 assists for a total of 5 points. He had 58 points in 66 games this season.
