A player from the Canadiens reveals not having a good relationship with Jeff Gorton, and it's a huge perception that is being denied

What we are learning now is that this relationship never had a say in this signing, at least not from Andersson's side. He even mentioned to TVA Sports journalist Nicolas Cloutier that his relationship with his former boss was difficult.
Andersson had even forgotten, when he received the offer from the Canadiens, that Gorton was now working with the Montreal organization.
With this signing, the now 25-year-old Swedish forward hopes to prove that he still has a place in the NHL. He has indeed started his ascent to the big league very well with a double, during his second game with the Rocket.
What will help the 7th overall pick of the 2017 draft to be considered for a call-up with the Canadiens is his experience. He has 110 games under his belt in the NHL, in addition to 162 in the AHL. Last season with the Ontario Reign, the farm team of the Los Angeles Kings, he accumulated 59 points, including 31 goals.
It will be interesting to see Andersson's progress over the coming weeks and, above all, his offensive production with the Laval Rocket!
