Askarov, 21 years old, is a 6 foot 4 inch, 180-pound goaltender who catches with the right hand. He was a 1st round pick of the Preds in 2020 (11th overall).
He is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in the world.
That evening, Nashville also had the 15th and 24th overall picks.
