Trade between the Canadiens and the Sharks for the 4th overall pick: a proposal has just been put forward
Yesterday, we learned some very important news thanks to The Athletic network.
The San Jose Sharks are reportedly seriously interested in trading their 2023 first round pick, the fourth overall selection. It's not specified, but we imagine that the Sharks are more open to moving down in the draft rather than trading their pick outright.
This is where things can get interesting for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
The price would be known
A specialized firm has done an incredible job to be able to literally measure what it would cost Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens to move up their 5th overall pick.
Here is the answer:
To Montreal
-4th overall pick
To San Jose
-5th overall pick
-2nd round pick 2023
It works with a point system.
Would you do it? It could be interesting for the Canadiens, given the impressive number of draft picks they hold.
