"The Avalanche is looking at options on the trade market for a goaltender. I'm told that Pavel Francouz has not fully recovered from his adductor surgery during the offseason and there are fears that he might not be healthy to start the season.

Boom! A team is now looking for a goaltender, and moreover, it is a team with which Kent Hughes and the Habs have a strong trading history and a very good relationship.
Don't be surprised if Casey DeSmith is traded to the Avalanche in the next few hours.
