The real reason why Carter Hart has not been traded yet is revealed: the report on Team Canada Junior 2018 is awaited

As you know, at the beginning of the summer and around the 2023 NHL draft, Carter Hart's name was heavily involved in trade rumors. Some very reliable sources even spoke as if it was certain that Hart would be traded.

However, today, a month later, the young goaltender Hart is still a member of the Philadelphia Flyers.

The reason has now been revealed, according to journalist Craig Button.

"Until the full report of the 2018 WJC team is released, teams will be hesitant to trade for Carter Hart."

This statement may seem unclear and should not be taken as a definitive conclusion, but it's what he put forward.

In a way, one can understand teams being cautious and waiting for confirmation, especially considering the high price to pay for this young goaltender with the potential of becoming a star.

Hart, 24 years old, has a career save percentage of 0.906, including 0.917 in his rookie season. He has immense potential.
