The cause of Yvon Pedneault's death has just been revealed, and it is extremely sad

The great Yvon Pedneault has passed away, news that has triggered numerous reactions and many extremely well-deserved tributes for the legendary analyst.
Once again, we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, loved ones, and his son Éric.
It was the host Jean-Charles Lajoie who revealed the cause of the passing of this monument in the world of sports media in Quebec:
"It is with deep sadness that I learn of the passing of my great friend Yvon Pedneault following a brief and rapid illness. His departure leaves an immense void, his legacy is colossal. My thoughts go to Éric and his family, family and friends. Rest in peace, my friend."
